I will fight your Lonlor/D’hiren ship with my fantastic Lonlor/Kan cruise liner. I’m telling you, that WILL be the major ship.

No- you’re wrong. Very wrong. I’m sure that will be shipped, but not as much as D’hiren/Lonny. I mean, 1. they’re best friends. Tumblr has shown us what happens to male best friends in the fandom world. 

and 2. D’hiren saving Lonny’s life. On the beach. At night. In the light of a fire. (how I remember it) As Lonny is fighting consciousness.

Last time I checked- that was canon and there’s no WAY that won’t be used as a fanfic. 

Oh- and in the last version, I’m not kidding when I say they rode off into the blizzard  sunset together. They did. 

I am willing to admit that D’hiren/Lonlor will be a big ship. It definitely will be. I know that. But if we look at whole the situation objectively we know there will be a time gap between when SoF 1 appears at the market and when SoF 2 will follow. What I’m saying is that SoF 1 will set the foundations of SoF slash. The one big ship that can emerge from that time before SoF 2 can only be Kan/Lonlor. (And general Vel/Kan but we do not speak of that, okay, it’s way too weird.) 

So logically when SoF 2 happens, it will be the beginning of the most epic ship war we have ever witnessed. But by that time Kan/Lonlor will be a good old classic ship, the very beginning of the fandom. It’s like… Merlin/Arthur versus Merlin/Gwaine.

These two ships will rule the SoF fandom and Hayden will despair for eternity.
